Short Course Booklet

Assessment

All NPTC courses e.g. NPTC Chainsaw, are assessed independently on an additional day. The price quoted includes all NPTC assessment and registration fees.
Where appropriate, Lantra assessments are undertaken at the end of the course and are included in the price and number of training days

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Kensey Training is a registered training provider of short courses and all courses are fully certificated.

Kensey Training Ltd is a not for profit organisation

Courses can be held either at Kensey Training’s own premises or premises to suit client(s).

The price of each course is quoted in Kensey Training’s price list. Some courses are quoted per person and others as a full course fee, the latter being for courses of less than 4 hours.

For prices per person, the full price applies to all courses, but the discount price is available to customers with an existing account or to those paying in full at least 3 days prior to the course.

For those without an account, the booking will only be confirmed once full payment has been received.

Payment can be made by cheque, debit or credit card or cash.

If, after having booked a course or courses, you cancel within 3 working days of the course, the full fee may be payable whether you have paid in advance or are an account customer. If you cancel within 7 working days of the course Kensey Training reserves the right to charge an administration fee of 20% of the full course fee or £20, whichever is greater.

If Kensey Training cancels a course for whatever reason, all monies paid will either be refunded or credited to a rearranged date.

Group bookings may be made either at Kensey Training’s own premises or the client’s own premises.

The group booking minimum charge may be reduced if the group booking client is prepared to accept others onto the course, providing Kensey Training has candidates who could be added.

For courses held at a client’s own premises a nominal additional charge may be made for the instructor’s daily mileage.

At a client’s request, a group booked course can sometimes be spread over a longer period, e.g. 1 day First Aid Courses can be done in 2 half-day sessions. If so there will be an additional charge of 10% per person or 10% of the minimum charge.

EQUIPMENT HIRE

Kensey Training is able to provide equipment and/or machines for candidates to use during training if required, but prior arrangement must be made. Kensey Training will be pleased to quote you on hire charges.

ASSESSMENT

All NPTC courses are assessed independently on an additional day. NPTC fees are in addition to the course fee and may be paid direct to Kensey Training or to CPTC Office, Ken Haine Building, Duchy College, Rosewarne, Camborne TR14 0AB.

Where appropriate, Lantra assessments are undertaken at the end of a course and are included in the number of training days listed.
